Some essential checkpoints while you sell plastic scrap.

Have an independent source of pricing information forplastic scrap like metalprices.com which have the current price information to verify that what you are receiving is consistent rate with actual market conditions.

While you sell plastic scrap ask the scrap metal dealer to include a copy of the indexed scrap plastic price with his payment cheque.

Make sure the weights are correct. Beware of the plastic scrap dealer who says he'll give you higher than scrap metal market prices: he can't – If he could give you a higher market price then be careful in the weight and his classification of scrap.The rates of scrap varies widely for clear PET, ABS, MIXED and PP scraps. The prices are expected to drop for the next few months due to the overload of stock in the Asian market.
